Poker is a card game involving individualistic play and betting. Here a winner is judged by his hand of card combination and their ranks. These cards are often nit revealed till a game’s end. Players can change their bets after every round. However, no betting is allowed after three rounds of card distribution. In the end, the player with the best ‘five-card’ hand becomes the winner.

Stud – This is an eight players’ card poker game usually played at homes. Stud is a combination of face-up and face-down rounds with betting taking place after each round. Game begins with each player having one up-card two hole cards followed by three rounds of up-cards with betting after each round. A final round of down card is made followed by a final round of betting. Player having the best 5-card combination wins.

Draw Poker – In this poker game players are allowed to replace their hand of cards by drawing from a deck. Draw Poker could be of different draw types such as 5-card, A-5 triple, 2-7 single, 2-7 triple, and Bagudi.

Mixed Games – In this variation, players are allowed to play different poker games on the same table.
