Everton are the 5/2 betting favourites to be the next destination for Liverpool’s out of favour striker Robbie Keane.

Following requests from punters in Ireland and the UK bookie Paddy Power is betting on Robbie Keane’s next club after he failed to make the bench for Liverpool’s FA Cup stalemate with Everton yesterday.

With no recognised strikers Everton seem in the most need for Keane’s services although the likely high cost of his transfer fee could prove a stumbling block. Everton are followed in the betting by Martin O’Neill’s Aston Villa at 9/2 whilst Keane is 5/1 to join the Irish contingent at Sunderland.

Having already brought Defoe and Chimbonda back into the fold, Spurs are 11/2 to bring Keane back to The Lane, the same price as money-bags Manchester City.
