Andy Murray, who is now 5/2 to win Wimbledon, has been eased out slightly in the betting by Paddy Power following last night’s war against Wawrinka. Murray had been as short as 15/8 to win his first Grand Slam title before the Wawrinka marathon although the British ace had been as big as 11/4 for the Wimbledon crown during the indoor struggle last night.

Having overcome the obstacle Murray is now 4/7 to reach his first SW19 final and just 1/16 to beat former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero in the Quarter Finals. It’s 4/6 for a Murray straight sets win and 8/1 for another five set marathon in Murray’s favour. Paddy Power are also betting on how many more sets Murray plays at Wimbledon this year, making eleven and twelve sets the 4/1 joint-favourite.
