Didier Drogba 11/8 odds to sign new Chelsea contract

Football betting William Hill

BetNose brings you the latest betting news for Chelsea.

What a few weeks it has been for Chelsea and their double winning side. The script was written for the Drog to win the champions league with what could be his final kick in a Chelsea shirt.

Didier Drogba is 11/8 odds to stay at Chelsea and sign a new contract to remain at Stamford Bridge past the 2012 Summer Transfer Window and bet365 are 8/11 about five or more of the Champions League starting eleven kicking off Chelsea’s 2012/13 Premier League campaign.

Roberto Di Matteo is currently 4/6 odds to be the next permanent manager of Chelsea. It's not been a bad couple of months for Robbie. To be honest the expectation when he rocked up to the bridge was zero, so he's not done a bad job. We still don't think he is the top man for the job but the owner might give him a one year contract until he try's to get Pep into the role after his 12 month break.

Premier League 2013 Title Odds

Football betting William Hill

BetNose sniffs out the latest Premier League betting news.

Manchester City scored twice in stoppage time to be crowned champions for the first time in 44 years as they beat Queen's Park Rangers to win the Premier League on goal difference from Manchester United. Man City are the obvious betting favourite to win the Premier League 2013. The best Premier League odds for Man City to win the 2013 title are 11/8. Not alot of value to be honest and not much return on a 12 month bet. Man United are 11/4 to win the 2013 title which would be their 20th.

Not many people woudl tip and other team outside Manchester to win thr 2013 Premier League but Arsenal look a good outside bet at 12/1 if you go on the handicap market or maybe 5/1 for Chelsea to come back strong in 2013? Pretty poor value considering Chelsea finished 6th in 2012.

Tottenham are 25/1 odds to win the Premier League 2013 which seems a little high considering in Feb 2012 they were in a title fight with Man United (city were no where at this time). What a season we had..... we hope we have more of the same next time around.
