Grant Holt 1/3 odds to join Aston Villa

Football betting William Hill

BetNose sniffs out the latest betting news for Aston Villa.

Grant Holt was one of the players of the season last year. He banged plenty of goals and at 31 years old in the Premier League, his value is way below what we think. He has been tipped to leave Norwich after handing in a transfer request and is valued at just 4 million.

Chances are he follows his old manager and joins the Villa. Odds on Grant Holt to transfer to Villa are now just 1/3. The bookies have priced up the other Claret and Blues, West Ham, as the second favourites at 6/4. The bookies also price him up at 6/1 to go north and join Sunderland.

Andriy Shevchenko 10/1 odds to win Euro 2012 Golden Boot

Football betting William Hill

BetNose sniffs out the best betting odds for Euro 2012.

What a brace from the old man last night. Shevchenko is now odds of 10/1 to bag the golden boot. Ex-Chelsea strike Shevchenko has always had a great international record and he proved last night he still has a lot to give at the twilight of this career.

Euro co-hosts, Ukraine went top of Group D after an Andriy Shevchenko brace and William Hill make them 4/6 to qualify from the group and 4/1 to win it.

Karim Benzema looked dangerous for us against England this week and was unlucky not to get a goal. Odds on Karim Benzema are now 14/1 to get the golden boot and he is our tip for the outside bet.

Latest Golden boot odds for the Euros are 5/1 Mario Gomez; 8/1 Alan Dzagoev; 10/1 Zlatan Ibrahimovic; 10/1 Andriy Shevhenko; 12/1 Karim Benzema; 14/1 Antonio Di Natale; 14/1 Mario Mandzukic.

Euro 2012 odds - Spain remain 3/1 to win

Football betting William Hill

BetNose sniffs out the best betting odds for Euro 2012.

We've had a cracking first week at the Euros with a few shock results and most teams looking cagey in their first fixtures. Spain played a 1-1 draw with Italy and remain the 3/1 odds to win Euro 2012. For us Italy looked the best team of the week and look value betting to win Euro 2012. Best odds on Italy to win Euro 2012 are 12/1.

There is obviously the media storm and hype for England but we wouldn't go near them at 12/1. Far more faith in Italy at the same price.

After losing their first fixture Holland are out to 20/1 from 7/1 to win.

David Haye v Dereck Chisora Fight Odds

William Hill Horse Racing

BetNose sniffs out the best betting odds for David Haye versus Dereck Chisora.

The grudge match between David Haye and Dereck Chisora goes ahead at Upton Park on 14th July, 2012.

This heavyweight bout required the sanction of Luxembourg Boxing Federation (LBF) as neither of the boxers holds a U.K. licence. Meanwhile European Boxing Federation (EBF) has passed a motion in its assembly to expel LBF from the EBF if it continued backing this fight. LBF on their part has World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) on its side. They are supporting the bout on the premises of it being an international event.David Haye aged 31 after being defeated by Wladimir Klitschko last summer never fought a bout. Chisora also has not contested in the ring since February 2012.

In a press conference held in London in May Chisora and Haye exchanged insults from which it was evident that they are mentally prepared for their 14th July event. Zimbabwean Chisora was at the receiving end of a verbal Haye who claimed that Chisora has a lovely chin to be attacked.Chisora has the distinction of beating Danny Williams at this same ring a couple of years ago and is fully prepared to take on Haye. According to Chisora, he and Haye have some unfinished business to be settled with their bout.

Chisora has already fought in Upton Park and with success. He appeared a confident self with a good grin and stating himself to be a ‘Hayemaker’. He promised to show something new to his fans which would all be entertaining stuff.Whatever the decision of European Boxing Federation may be on the fate of LBF, the fight seems very much on the cards with both WBA and WBO baking LBF. Fans of both boxers are in for a thrilling duel on Saturday 14th July at this West Ham Upton Park boxing ring.
