Hold On Julio odds favourite to win Skybet Chase

Skybet Chase Odds see Hold On Julio, Shakalakaboomboom and Aiteen Thirtythree heading up the betting. Skybet Chase, a three mile jump race is scheduled at Doncaster racecourse on Saturday 28th January, 2012. This race originally termed Great Yorkshire Chase was initiated in 2003 and is treated as a dress rehearsal for Cheltenham Festival races in March, and Grand National races at Aintree in April.In the last race held in 2009, Big Fella Thanks trained by Paul Nicholls won the event following it up by sixth place in the Grand national, and a fourth spot the next year. Prior to Big Fella Thanks, Paul Nicholls also trained Colourful Life who was a winner of Skybet Chase in 2005. Though this race began in 2003 there only have been seven events in the previous nine years. No races were possible in 2011 and 2010.

In Skybet Chase this year a close contest is flaring up between Hold on Julio, winner of Sandown races, and Shakalakaboomboom. Airteen Thirtythree, Qianshan Leader and Aigle D’Or are also in the line-up for a possible title. According to Pete and Michel Le Bon could also emerge as winners in Saturday’s chase race. Calgary Bay and Galaxy Rock are capable of tilting the odds in the races any moment. Cape Tribulation, Fruity O’Rooney, Aerial, Wayward Prince, Pearly Steps, Tatenen, Consigliere, and I’mfishinghtheblues would add up as contenders.In all there would be forty five horses running for honour in Skybet Chase race on 28th January. Trainer Paul Nicholls would have Aiteen Thirtythree, Noland, and Michel Le bon running for him. While Nicjy Henderson’s trained horses would include Osric, Shakalakaboomboom, and Aigle D’Or. Qianshan Leader trained by Emma Lavelle has been having a fantastic season so far in the jump races.
