Last year’s champion Novak Djokovich from Croatia is likely to be the top seed of the coming Wimbledon followed by Rafael Nadal of Spain. Nadal won the just concluded French Open Grand Slam tournament after defeating Djokovich 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, and 7-5 at Roland Garros on 11th June, 2012. With this seventh victory at Roland Garros Nadal surpassed Bjorn Borg’s record of sis French Open titles.Earlier, in the Australian Open this year, Djokovich defeated Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, and 7-5. The contest between first seeded Djokovich and second seeded Nadal is certain to continue at Wimbledon.In men’s doubles category Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan of United States won the title in 2011. The distribution of point in the doubles category is same as those in ‘singles’ category. Prize money is £260,000 for winners, £130,000 for losing finalist, £65,000 for losing semi-finalist, and £32,500 for losing quarterfinalist.
